Google Maps Google said that it will replace a satellite photo of an area in Richmond, California—about 14 miles north of Oakland—that a resident says shows the body of his teenage son who was shot and killed four years ago. Jose Barrera told local media that he discovered the image on Google Maps’ satellite view earlier this month.

The body of his son, Kevin Barrera, was found near the railroad track shown in the image in August 2009.

The killer remains at large. “When I see this image, it’s still like that happened yesterday,” Barrera told KTVU-TV in Oakland. “And that brings me back to a lot of memories.”
