An updated sos package that fixes one bug is now available for Red HatEnterprise Linux 6.

The sos package contains a set of utilities that gather information from systemhardware, logs, and configuration files. The information can then be used fordiagnostic purposes and debugging. This update fixes the following bug: * When the sos package was installed on a cluster that uses the pacemakerresource manager, the sosreport utility incorrectly used the crm_report utilityof the pacemaker package to report data about the cluster. Consequently, thesosreport utility did not return any data from the crm_report utility. Now, thesosreport utility has been updated to collect the last 72 hours of data with thecrm_report utility by default. A new command-line option has also been added toallow the user to specify a starting point for data collection, in the format of’–from “YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS” ‘. As a result, the sosreport utility nowcorrectly collects data as expected. (BZ#1085732)Users of sos are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes thisbug.
