Updated autofs packages that fix one bug are now available for Red HatEnterprise Linux 6.

The autofs utility controls the operation of the automount daemon. The daemonautomatically mounts file systems when in use and unmounts them when they arenot busy. This update fixes the following bug:* Previously, when an autofs mount used the “browse” option, autofs could createdirectories that did not correspond to map entries within its map. This was dueto autofs not properly checking for entries that corresponded to previouslyfailed mount attempts, the so-called “negative entries”. The check for negativemap entries has been corrected, and autofs now works as intended. (BZ#1089889).Users of autofs are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix thisbug.
