Updated nfs-utils packages that add two enhancements are now available for RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 Extended Update Support.

The nfs-utils packages provide a daemon for the kernel Network File System (NFS)server and related tools, which provides better performance than the traditionalLinux NFS server used by most users. These packages contain the mount.nfs,umount.nfs, and showmount programs. This update adds the following enhancements:* IPv6 is now a supported address type, and the exportfs utility can thus useIPv6 addresses to export file systems. (BZ#1133837)* A new “nordirplus” option has been implemented for the exportfs utility forNFSv3. This option allows the user to disable READDIRPLUS requests for the givenNFSv3 export, and thus prevent unwanted disk access in certain scenarios.(BZ#1133835)Users of nfs-utils are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which addthese enhancements. After installing this update, the nfs service will berestarted automatically.
