Updated OpenStack Block Storage packages that resolve various issuesare now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 5.0(Icehouse) for RHEL 7.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilitiesfor building a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS)cloud running on commonly available physical hardware. This advisoryincludes packages for:* OpenStack Block Storage serviceOpenStack Block Storage (cinder) manages block storage mounting andthe presentation of such mounted block storage to instances. Theback-end physical storage can consist of local disks, Fiber Channel,iSCSI, and/or NFS mounts attached to Compute nodes. In addition, BlockStorage supports volume backups, and snapshots for temporary save andrestore operations. Programmatic management is available through theBlock Storage service’s API.This update addresses the following issue:* Previously, deleting a LVM snapshot or volume in Block Storage (cinder) couldfail due an internal exception when processing byte strings.As a result, certain LVM snapshots or volumes could not be deleted in somecases.This update resolves this issue by catching a spurious exception. As a result,these LVM snapshots and volumes can now be successfully deleted. (BZ#1154534)
