Updated tree packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat EnterpriseLinux 6.

The tree package contains the tree utility that recursively displays thecontents of directories in a tree-like format. Tree is basically a UNIX port ofthe DOS tree utility. This update fixes the following bug:* Previously, buffer overflows could occur in the uidtoname() and gidtoname()functions of the tree utility. As a consequence, using the “tree” command insome cases failed and the following error message was displayed to the user:*** buffer overflow detected ***: tree terminatedAn upstream patch has been backported to fix the problem, and the tree utilitynow lists files as expected. (BZ#1110559)Users of tree are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix thisbug.
