The alsa-utils packages contain command line utilities for the Advanced LinuxSound Architecture (ALSA).This update fixes the following bug:* Due to an error in the underlying code for the pcm_read and pcm_readvfunctions, the “-d” and “–duration” parameters for the “arecord” command didnot behave properly. This update corrects the error and thus fixes the behaviorof these parameters. (BZ#1167358)Users of alsa-utils are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fixthis bug.
