An updated sos package that fixes one bug is now available for Red HatEnterprise Linux 7.

The sos package contains a set of utilities that gather information from systemhardware, logs, and configuration files. The information can then be used fordiagnostic purposes and debugging. This update fixes the following bug: * Previously, the sos MySQL plug-in did not support mariadb, the alternateversion of MySQL. As a consequence, the mariadb logs could not be automaticallycollected by the sosreport utility. The updated plug-in now supports both MySQLand mariadb versions of the database, thus fixing this bug. (BZ#1176159) Users of sos are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes thisbug.
