Updated OpenStack Block Storage packages that resolve various issues arenow available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 6.0 (Juno)for RHEL 7.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities forbuilding a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloudrunning on commonly available physical hardware. This advisory includespackages for:* OpenStack Block Storage serviceOpenStack Block Storage (cinder) manages block storage mounting and thepresentation of such mounted block storage to instances. The back-endphysical storage can consist of local disks, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, and/orNFS mounts attached to Compute nodes. In addition, Block Storage supportsvolume backups, and snapshots for temporary save and restore operations.Programmatic management is available through the Block Storage service’sAPI.With this update, OpenStack Block Storage is now re-based to upstream version2014.2.3. This applies several fixes and improvements, most notably:* Previously, iSCSI settings were not saved in the underlying operatingsystem. This resulted in empty configurations for iSCSI targets; this,in turn, cleared the iSCSI targets upon start/restart. With thisupdate, iSCSI changes in target.service default configuration are nowpersistent, thereby ensuring that iSCSI targets are not cleared uponstart/restart.* An SSH connection throttling issue prevented the IBM Storwize driverfrom initializing when attempting to configure more than three poolson the same back end. This update fixes the problem by adding a delayto the Storwize driver initialization, which then allows multiple SSHconnections to establish themselves over a longer time period.
