Updated cronie packages that fix two bugs and add one enhancement are nowavailable for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

The cronie packages contain the standard UNIX daemon crond that runs specifiedprograms at scheduled times and related tools. They are a fork of the originalvixie-cron cron implementation and have security and configuration enhancementslike the ability to use pam and SELinux. This update fixes the following bugs:* Previously, the file 0hourly was not marked as a configuration file in thecronie spec file. Consequently, system administrators were not able to change inwhich minute of the hour shall hourly tasks be executed. To fix this bug,0hourly has been marked as a configuration file, and it is now possible tomodify the time of hourly tasks execution. (BZ#1083114)* Prior to this update, cron jobs of users whose account information wasacquired from the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server might notrun after the system boot, and the “bad username” error was logged. The handlingof accounts that are temporarily missing from the system due to loss of contactwith the LDAP server has been improved with a patch, and the error no longeroccurs in this situation. (BZ#1145080)In addition, this update adds the following enhancement: * The crond daemon now logs shutdowns. Its proper terminations are thereforedistinguishable from abnormal ones. (BZ#1207096)Users of cronie are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fixthese bugs and add this enhancement.
