Updated gzip packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat EnterpriseLinux 7.

The gzip packages contain the gzip (GNU zip) data compression utility. gzip isused to compress regular files. It replaces them with files containing the .gzextension, while retaining ownership modes, access, and modification times. This update fixes the following bug:* Previously, the user’s choice of “yes” or “no” in the overwrite prompt was notevaluated correctly, and gzip interpreted both selections as a “yes”.Consequently, files were overwritten even when the user did not intend to do so.To fix this bug, duplicate declaration of the yesno() function has been removed, and files are no longer overwritten when “no” is selected. (BZ#1201689)Users of gzip are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix thisbug.
