Run, Zuck, Run!
Mark Zuckerberg has already challenged himself to learn Mandarin, read a ton of books, and create an Artificial Intelligence assistant that may or may not take over the world and kill us all. Now, the already slim Facebook cofounder wants to take his running to the next level.
“I’m going to run 365 miles and I’d love for as many people in this community to join me as possible,” Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post. “We’ll call this year’s challenge A Year of Running.”
“This is a lot of running, but it’s not a crazy amount,” he wrote. “It’s a mile a day, and at a moderate pace it’s less than 10 minutes of running per day.”
The challenge is the second Zuckerberg has announced in as many days. On Sunday, he revealed that he is planning to build his own Artificial Intelligence assistant that can help him around the house and at the office. “You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man,” he wrote.
In years past, the chief of the Menlo Park, California-based company has also challenged himself to learn Mandarin, read two books each month and meet a new person every day.
