Updated Installation utility packages that resolve various issues are nowavailable for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 6.0 (Juno) forRHEL 7.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities forbuilding a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloudrunning on commonly available physical hardware.

This advisory includespackages for:* Installation utility (“PackStack”).PackStack is a command-line utility for deploying OpenStack on existingservers over an SSH connection.

Deployment options are provided eitherinteractively, using the command line, or non-interactively by means of atext file containing a set of preconfigured values for OpenStackparameters.PackStack is suitable for deploying the following types of configurations:* Single-node proof-of-concept installations, where all controller servicesand your virtual machines run on a single physical host.

This is referredto as an all-in-one install.* Proof-of-concept installations, where there is a single controller nodeand multiple compute nodes.

This is similar to the all-in-one installabove, except you may use one or more additional hardware nodes for runningvirtual machines.Changes to the openstack-packstack component:* Previously, persist_ovs_bridge.pp in the Packstack puppet templates created anincorrect ifcfg-br-ex file because it appended _br_ex to the IPADDR and NETMASKvalues, causing /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-br-ex to have invalidIPADDR and NETMASK values. With this update, this code has now been removed, resolving this issue. (BZ#1179888)
