Partnership enhances services for digital transformation in the public sector
Eduserv, the not-for-profit provider of IT services for the public sector, has enhanced its services for digital transformation by partnering with Microsoft as a Cloud Solutions Provider. The new partnership sees Microsoft Azure and Office 365 added to Eduserv’s services, giving customers more options to move to the cloud and build the foundations for digital transformation.
Microsoft Azure adds to the existing managed cloud services covered by Eduserv’s Assured Hybrid Cloud.

By connecting to Eduserv’s accredited cloud platform or to public clouds including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, customers can take a secure and progressive approach to cloud migration and digital transformation.
Eduserv’s Assured Hybrid Cloud architecture allows public facing information to be stored in a public cloud, such as Microsoft Azure, with the most sensitive information stored in its UK data sovereign secure cloud or remain on premise.

The two are connected by Eduserv’s Managed Cloud Connector, allowing applications to securely share information across different security domains.
Eduserv’s Assured Hybrid Cloud service forms part of its wider offering of hosted digital business applications and digital transformation consulting services which help organisations transform how they deliver services.

This includes Content Management Systems, business process and workflow software (K2), Microsoft Office 365, as well as bespoke business applications.
Ed Zedlewski, Managing Director for Managed Cloud Services at Eduserv, said:
“While the challenges and opportunities around digital transformation are common across the public sector, every organisation has individual needs which require tailored IT solutions. Our goal in building a partnership with Microsoft is to ensure our customers have the choice of a platform which best matches their needs as they build new cloud services to support digital transformation.

As a Microsoft Gold Partner and a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider, Eduserv is able to offer services optimally aligned to our customers business needs.”
