Updated grub2 packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat EnterpriseLinux 7.1 Extended Update Support.
The grub2 packages provide version 2 of the Grand Unified Bootloader (GRUB), ahighly configurable and customizable bootloader with modular architecture.

Thepackages support a variety of kernel formats, file systems, computerarchitectures, and hardware devices. This update fixes the following bug:* The Simple Network Protocol (SNP) was not handled correctly when it was usedwith the “exclusive” flag.

As a consequence, Pre-Boot Execution Environment(PXE) booting on certain Fujitsu Server PRIMEQUEST systems failed.

This updatefixes the handling of SNP on the affected PRIMEQUEST systems, and they now bootPXE as expected. (BZ#1274183)Users of grub2 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix thisbug.
