An updated Windows Azure Linux Agent package is now available for Red HatEnterprise Linux 6 Extras.
The Windows Azure Linux Agent supports the provisioning and running of Linuxvirtual machines in the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud.The Windows Azure Linux Agent (WALinuxAgent) package has been upgraded toupstream version 2.2.0, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancementsover the previous version. (BZ#1387784)This update also fixes the following bug:* Previously, two waagent daemon processes still persisted after upgrading theWALinuxAgent package with the “rpm -U” command. This bug has been fixed andwaagent daemon processes no longer persist after upgrading this package.(BZ#1374121)All users who require the Windows Azure Linux Agent are advised to install thisupdated package. This package should be installed on Linux disk images that arebuilt to run in the Windows Azure environment.
