Open Hub Med: Mediterranean data traffic consortium data centre goes live

London, UK, May 3, 2017 – Open Hub Med, the European technological consortium, has activated a data centre to make Italy the bridge between the internet networks of Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and the rest of the world. One of the first members of the consortium, Interoute, has simultaneously activated its transmission systems present at the site, and is ready to receive requests for connectivity.

Spam and phishing in Q1 2017

Although the beginning of Q1 2017 was marked by a decline in the amount of spam in overall global email traffic, in March the situation became more stable, and the average share of spam for the quarter amounted to 55.9%.
